The theory of a mixture of strivings has some resemblence to the strivings described and labelled as "dynamics" in scientology.

1st dyn= self - activity, bonding, etc
2nd dyn= sexual/familial activities, bondings, etc
3rd dyn= tribal/group bondings activities, bondings, etc

etc.

Would you say that your work validates this, or that this work diminishes your own?

The close resmblence to Scientology, is no accident. Early on, they rewote Szondi to meet their needs. I do not know if they are still using the Eperimental, Szondi Test.( I was told locally it was no longer used).

Also, L. Szondi was a Jew,and always made room for religion in his writeings. His daugher Vera, a physician, is said to have converted to Christianity. He said faith was key to mans highist developments.
Szondi belonged to the next generation that followed Freud and struggled to keep religion in depth
pssychology, as had Adler and Jung before him.

My point of view is the human potential for faith, is not just clultural formed, but gene passed legacy of your ancestrial strivings.

RADICAL GENE PSYCHOLOGY= IF culture has not given you a religion, you are internally driven to create one for yourself; the style sheet for faith is in you.
